The NOCO BGU1 is a rugged and durable Group U1 battery box designed for lawn and garden, generators, gate openers, and related equipment. With its new snap-lock design, installation is now easier than ever. It can be mounted without a battery strap using pre-drilled internal pilot holes or with a battery strap mount for more demanding applications. This battery box provides safety features to protect batteries from movement and accidental shorting of terminals, while also collecting battery acid and allowing for adequate ventilation. It meets USCG Code of Federal Regulations 183.420 and ABYC E-10.7 specifications. The All-New SnapTop Battery Box is an enhanced version of the HM082BK, featuring a more structurally rigid design and simple installation. It is designed to fit Group U1 batteries, including 12-volt lawn and garden, generators, gate openers, and related equipment. Installation has been simplified with pre-drilled internal pilot holes for direct mounting or an all-new strap mount system for rugged and demanding installations. The reinforced design with a honeycomb lattice structure provides ultimate battery protection, with impact resistance down to -20ºF (-28ºC) and resistance to acid, gas, UV, and oil. Additionally, it offers maximum versatility with enhanced cable entry ports for improved cable routing from multiple directions and optional ventilation holes for additional airflow. Included in the package are the BGU1 Group U1 Snap-Top Marine Battery Box, Battery Divider, 36-Inch Battery Hold-Down Strap, Battery Mounting Tray, and (4) #8x1-Inch Self-Tapping Screws, meeting USCG 183.420 and ABYC E-10.7 specifications.
