The Mega Shackle Hitch Receiver features four different pinholes that allow the user to set the shackle in the desired direction, enabling horizontal and vertical orientations that can be useful in extended or recessed positions. This feature allows more of the shank to fit in the receiver opening for vehicles with stock bumpers.

The package includes a 2" towing hitch receiver, a 3/4" D-ring mega shackle with an isolator and 4 washers, a 5/8" hitch lock pin with an extra safety spring clip and 2 spare keys, and 6 silicone O-rings. The mega shackle hitch receiver is made from high-strength, drop-forged steel, with a working load limit of 8 tons (17,000 lbs) and a breaking strength limit of 30 tons (68,000 lbs).

For safe use, it is recommended to adjust the installation by adding or removing silicone O-rings on the hitch lock pin, secure the hitch lock pin using the push-to-lock mechanism and extra safety spring clip, remove the isolator from the trailer hitch D-ring when towing, and always use washers and isolators when driving with D-rings installed.
